Abstract
-
It had been well established that Arthrobacter pyridinolis possessed two transport systems for both D-fructose and L-rhamnose. These were shown to be a respiration-coupled transport system, which is energized by the oxidation of Krebs cycle intermediates, and a phosphoenolpyruvate: hexose phos.
