Abstract: The main result of this work is the following statement. If {dollar}G=(x\sb1,\...,x\sb{lcub}k{rcub}\mid R\sp{lcub}n{rcub}=1){dollar} is a one-relator group with torsion, where R is a nontrivial freely reduced word and {dollar}n>5{dollar} then any two-generator subgroup of G is quasiconvex in G.
